Dundee Football Club defender Billy Koumetio has signed with Charlton Athletic. The French defender, 23, has signed a four-year deal with the Championship club, marking a return to England for the former Liverpool player.

What happened?

Koumetio told Charlton's website that the manager, Nathan Jones, spoke to him about the vision that he has for the club and for the players. He realized this was the best move he could make for his career.
