Dundee FC has finalized a loan deal for 19-year-old US Youth National Team prospect Matai Akinmboni, who impressed manager Steven Pressley during a trial with Bournemouth. The loan deal is for the current season and is due to work permit issues.
Matai Akinmboni made 17 appearances for DC United and 14 appearances for Loudoun United, and is a U.S. Youth National Team prospect. He featured for the Under-19's and U-20's, and was on trial with Dundee FC from Bournemouth.
Steven Pressley, the manager of Dundee FC, said: "He looks like an interesting player, I’m looking forward to seeing him over the period and being able to assess him."
