Dundee Football Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join the Club as a voluntary Child Wellbeing & Protection Officer. This role will act as the club’s lead safeguarding contact, helping to promote the safety and welfare of all children and young people within the Academy. Working closely with players, parents, coaches, staff, and volunteers, the successful candidate will support the implementation of safeguarding policies, provide guidance on wellbeing matters, and help ensure the club continues to provide a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for every young person involved in our Academy programme. The role will also involve providing guidance and support to players, parents, and staff on wellbeing matters, and will work closely with external agencies to ensure that the club is compliant with all relevant safeguarding regulations. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including players, parents, coaches, staff, and volunteers. The role will be based at the club’s Academy, and will involve working closely with the Academy management team to ensure that the club continues to provide a safe and supportive environment for all young people.
