Dundee Football Club are delighted to announce that Charley Oosenbrugh has signed a new contract with the club, committing to the Dark Blues until 2029. The 17-year-old has been promoted to the first team squad and has been heavily involved in the early stages of the 2026/27 season.

What's Next for Oosenbrugh?

Oosenbrugh has been with the Dundee Football Club Academy since the age of six and has been playing for the club's U18 team. He made his first team debut last season, coming off the bench against Kilmarnock in May. This season, he has been involved in all of the six friendlies that have been played this summer and has also come off the bench in the Premier Sports Cup wins against Airdrieonians and Annan Athletic earlier this month.

Oosenbrugh's Goals for the Season

The young defender has stated that his goal for the season is to be involved as much as possible and to see what happens from there. He has been working closely with the gaffer, who has given him the opportunity to improve and build into the first team. Oosenbrugh feels that being at the club since he was a young boy has given him a strong foundation and he is excited to take on the challenge of the new season.

Dundee Football Club's Current Form

As the season progresses, Dundee Football Club is currently sitting 9th in the Premiership with 33 points from 33 games, with a recent form of WLWWL. They are 37 points behind leaders Heart of Midlothian in the title race. The team has scored 34 goals this season, while conceding 53. Despite the challenges, the team is working hard to improve and move up the table.

Oosenbrugh's Commitment to the Club

Oosenbrugh's new contract is a testament to the club's commitment to developing young talent. The 17-year-old has been a key player in the club's U18 team and has now been promoted to the first team squad. His dedication and hard work have paid off, and he is now a part of the club's first team. Dundee Football Club is proud to have Oosenbrugh on board and looks forward to seeing him grow and develop as a player.
